The role:

The Maintenance Discipline Engineer is responsible for the Discipline Maintenance strategy and its implementation on the Moerdijk Site. He/she is responsible for monitoring and implementing the legal requirements. It is an essential role in achieving plant reliability requirements consistent with LyondellBasell Standards and legal requirements.

The engineer is thus responsible for maintaining the safety, integrity, reliability and legal status of the plant equipment throughout its lifecycle. Proper functioning of the equipment is necessary in order to satisfy the company requirements for health, safety, environment, legal compliance, product quality & consistency and cost.

You are required to have/ be

  • A University degree in Engineering with at least 5 years relevant experience in petrochemical plant work
  • Experienced in discipline maintenance work and maintenance
  • Experienced in plant change and project design, development, installation and commissioning
  • Fluent in English and Dutch
  • The ability to work unsupervised and plan own workload
  • The ability to ascertain and resolve discipline integrity issues and steer discipline strategy.
