Position:
As a Process Engineer you will make a substantial contribution to the Process Safety, Environment, Reliability, Cost Savings and Optimization. You will be part of a Team, leading the Process Safety and the Cost Saving effort, and support the other departments (such as Operations, Reliability, Business) to continually increase our operational excellence. Also, you will be preparing the Process Design Package to implement projects linked to the desired improvements. You will lead and/or participate in multidisciplinary teams to analyze and work on implementing improvement.

You are required to have/be:

  • Drive and Initiative
  • An experienced (minimum 5 years experience) engineer with potential, with both technical and personal competencies, which you want to develop further within our organization
  • A bachelor or university degree in chemistry or process technology
  • Relevant experience within production processes in the (petro) chemical or refining industry or engineering
  • Well developed (problem-solving) analytical skill.
  • Good Time Management skill
  • The capacity to develop others further (knowledge transfer)
  • The drive to pursue changes and a desire to play an important role in this
  • Good communication and team spirit skills
  • Operational awareness; Health, Safety, Environmental and Risk Management
  • Fluent in English
